Available in the NEW BASIC STRETCH TUTU KIT, Classic Stretch Tutu Kit, Mock-Russian Stretch Tutu Kit.

 

New BASIC Stretch Tutu Kit—

The New Basic Stretch Tutu Kit is ideal for Novice/Beginner Stretch Tutu makers.

A good sewing background with an understanding of stretch fabric sewing is beneficial.

Dani Legge’s brand new book — TUTU MAKING FOR NOVICE SEWERS– is a 55 page booklet with notes and Photos to aid the beginner in making a stretch Tutu.

It uses a simple pattern and less layers of net than a standard Stretch Tutu.

This informative book gives the sewer confidence to make one and then, if desired, to tackle more complicated patterns.

The BASIC KIT comes with the Lycra, Lining, (optional use), Net cut in layers and labelled,  Elastic, Printed Pattern (with a net cutting chart ) of your choice of size and the Printed Instruction Booklet.

Folded and packed in a box.

These ‘Kits’ are great for Christmas and Birthday gifts.

 

Classic and Mock-Russian Stretch Tutu Kits–

These are more advanced than the Basic Tutus with a different style bodice and more layers of net.

The Classic Booklet is 16 pages with notes and photos to help guide you. A net cutting chart is included.

The Mock-Russian Stretch Tutu Kit includes a page of notes used in conjunction with the Classic Stretch Tutu Booklet.

A good sewing background with experience in Stretch sewing is advised.

The Classic and Mock-Russian Stretch Tutu Kit comes with the Lycra, Net cut in layers, elastic, Printed Pattern of your choice of size and the Printed Instruction Booklet.

 

FABRICS

Lycra

Italian Matt Lycra, Shiny Lycra and Spandex Velvet will be available in various colours.

The Italian Matt Lycra is available in colours-check sample card.

Shiny Lycra has more colours as shown in the Shop under Stretch Fabrics-Shiny Lycra.

Sample cards are available to order in the shop under Fabrics – Sample cards — if you would like to see colours before ordering.

 

Net

Italian or Australian net will be sold with these kits. Dani uses the Australian net in her Tutus.

The Italian net is 3m wide and the Australian net is narrower at 50″ or 1.27 m approximately wide.

There are basic colours of Australian net (Oz net) available.

The Lycra and net will be matched up closest to each other depending on colours available.

If you would like a White net skirt with a Pink Lycra Leotard or another colour choice then please email me with this option on [email protected] after placing your order.

Italian 40 denier net colours shown under the Net section.

If you would like to see and choose colours before ordering then sample cards are available to order in the Shop under nets.

 

EXTRAS

There is also a Haberdashery Kit which is available to add to your Basic Kit.

The Haberdashery Kit will contain –Gutermann  good quality thread to match Lycra colours as closely as possible and Stretch or Ball point machine needles and Fishing Line.

 

PRICING

The Stretch Tutu Kits are different prices for an Adult and a Child’s size and whether it is the Basic, Classical or Russian Tutu Kit.

There will be three size groups for the Pricing—–

Group 1——- 4-6 years, 6-8 years, 8-10 years. ————–  £85.00 – £95.00 plus shipping

Group 2—— 10-12 years, 12-15 years.————————-£90.00 – £100.00 plus shipping

Group 3—— Adults Ladies Small, Medium, Large.———-£97.00 – £107.00 plus shipping

 

Choosing a pattern size—

The sizing guide chart will help with your size selection.

These Stretch Tutus do run on the small size so if in doubt order a size up.

Stretch Tutu Size charts are available under Product information on the Homepage of the website.

 

Please allow a few days for your order to be cut and processed–depending on orders at the time.

These will be shipped Signed for best option or by Courier if larger and overweight orders are placed.
