Shipping and Delivery and Returns–PLEASE READ

The shipping costs charged are NOT the same as what is said on the parcel as VAT, fees and packaging costs are added.

Goods must be paid for before they are shipped.

We all are trying to save where we can. But Ordering 70-100m of net to save on shipping does not work. It cannot be sent in one box.  This will need to be sent in 2 parcels and extra shipping charged.

With all the recent increase in costs the Couriers have now also added insurance fees with the value of the goods. This can be around an extra £8.00 and will be charged if your postage paid is not enough.

Due to the extended Covid effect, delivery of parcels seem to be taking longer than normal. This is out of my control.

I aim to ship your goods within a 2 – 4 days depending on time, day etc the order is received and on circumstances-i.e. if I am on a Course or away on a fitting for a few days or closed over certain holidays and weekends.

Most mail is sent Royal Mail tracked or with First class post. If it is overweight or the postage paid is not enough then it will have to go second class or a new invoice sent for the extra postage.

Basic flat rate postage and packaging costs are approximately £6.50  and upwards for orders depending on weight, size etc.

Any order not fitting into a Small parcel box might have to be shipped as a Medium parcel or go with a Courier. An extra charge will be invoiced and the goods will be shipped once payment is received.

 

Goods overweight or on a Bale or Roll need to go with a Courier- Lately they are charging extra for goods over £20.00 value. Due to increased Fuel costs etc they are running reduced services and their prices have increased.

We cannot absorb all these costs anymore. We still need to pay for VAT, Fees and packaging costs on top of the Courier costs and where applicable the customer will be charged.

At present Courier costs are approximately £19.50 –  £28.00 for higher value orders. International costs re dependent on goods, value, area etc.

These prices are changeable depending on the goods ordered.– Email me for a Courier shipping estimate if you are unsure.

Next day delivery is currently not being guaranteed by the Couriers. Royal Mail are still offering it but are not guaranteeing it.

An extra cost will be charged for Next day delivery if Postage paid is not enough.

If you want to organise your own Shipper then notify me please.

I will not use the cheapest Couriers as they are unreliable and the parcels arrive damaged and sometimes not at all.

 

Shipping to International destinations is possible.

An Estimate is charged and after Postage and Packaging fees the balance is refunded if overcharged or a new Invoice sent if the charge is over the Estimate.

Usually I send International Mail with Royal Mails  ‘ Tracked and signed for mail’ and will send a tracking number for you to follow its progress.

Brexit regulations require custom declarations on the parcels. I am not responsible for the Customs and Duties you might have to pay upon receiving your order.

Please familiarise yourself with theses charges in your specific country before ordering.

Couriers have increased costs recently and we advise you to get a quote before ordering.

Couriers are now charging more to cover extra paperwork for exporting goods. As Brexit regulations are still new please be patient with this.

Larger or overweight orders are sent with a Courier and the shipping might have to be adjusted with extra insurance etc. A new invoice will be sent.

If you are out or away and do not notify the post office or delivery service I cannot be held responsible. The item is sometimes returned to me and then a new shipping cost will be charged for.

Once a parcel is shipped it is out of my control. It is your responsibility to follow its progress and make sure someone is available to receive it. To claim for lost mail or undelivered mail takes time and lots of paperwork.

It can be about 3 months before the shipper or Royal mail get back to me.

I get Proof of postage on mailing your order and high value goods will be sent Recorded Delivery (Signed for) or Proof of Delivery.

Royal Mail will only class a parcel as lost when goods have not been received after 15 working days. If your order is lost I will need to claim which can take up to 3 months with Royal mail.

If you need it before then please place a new order and pay for it. Once I receive funds back from Royal mail you will be refunded.

CHECK YOUR ADDRESS AND POSTCODE — Your order will be sent to the shipping address you enter. Please make sure it is correctly entered as I am not responsible for incorrect post codes and addresses.

If the address given to me is incorrect it is not my responsibility to resend lost goods- a new order will have to be placed and paid for.

Email address and phone number —- If the incorrect email address and phone number is entered then you cannot be contacted for parcel couriers or for us to query an order.

Your order will be sent and then it is up to you to contact me regarding any issues.

 

Where possible I will package the order to obtain the best shipping cost.

There is a Flat rate charged for most parcels. Please do not order an item for £1.00 and expect a refund on the shipping.

There are increased costs to small business owners with the Pandemic and Brexit issues trebling shipping costs for importing goods.

Whether one item or 10 items are purchased a Basic rate will be charged. It is up to you to save on shipping costs.

Combining Orders and fees charged—-I will combine orders where possible but a fee will be taken off the shipping of the one order before refunding,  to cover fees charged to me and the time processing the orders.

Adding an new invoice to an existing order to combine them incurs admin costs and Paypal fees. A small fee will be charged on the invoice.

The Couriers now charge extra for higher value goods and this is added for insurance. The rate can increase as the value increases.

A packaging and general administrative charge is included in the Shipping fee for Royal mail parcels. Most parcels are not covering these costs.  Valorose Tutus and Textiles retains the right to add the extra fees charged to the shipping.

 

Do NOT order from this business if you do not agree to these Terms.

Any emails received which are deemed aggressive or threatening will not be answered. It is up to you to read the conditions referred to and if you are not happy please do not place an order.

I run a service based business and try to the best of my ability to leave the customer satisfied.

I reserve the right to re-calculate shipping  on larger quantities of fabric or net purchased if the  rate set does not cover the cost of shipping and fees related to it.

 

NETS- Small orders of net will be folded in a box —If you do not want the net folded please notify me but be aware of extra shipping costs for this.

Please unpack on receiving and lay flat as soon as possible.

I have tried not to send Net folded with second class mail as this takes longer leaving the net folded for longer.

However with Shipping costs constantly increasing,  second class is cheaper and therefore might be a better option.

Leave a note with your order or email me requesting cheapest shipping options.

Large orders will be sent on a bale or roll. Due to the length of a roll the shipping will be extra. I will do my best to find the cheapest shipping option and notify you.

A fee of £5.00 including VAT will now be charged on Large orders which are paid for through the website.

A BACS transfer will not incur these charges unless they are international where extra fees are incurred.

 

FABRIC-  will be folded unless larger orders require it to be sent on a role or bale. Shipping will then have to be adjusted.

 

Larger items such as Tutu hangars are classed as Medium parcels by Royal mail and will attract a higher shipping rate even though the weight is not much.

Likewise Rehearsal Tutus are set at a rate according to the carton size.

 

Reducing Plastic packaging—— I am trying to reduce plastic packaging in my parcels.

If you have an issue with this please message me. I always welcome suggestions.

I dislike waste and try and recycle boxes where I can. However this will not affect your goods as I pack with care.

 

My Tutus weigh from 1.5 kg up to about 3.5 kg depending on embellishment and fabrics used.

Because of the value I will only send these with a Courier or Recorded mail If collection is not possible, and the shipping will have to be calculated. An estimate will be given on placing of the order.

There are extra insurance costs with high value items which will be above the standard shipping prices

 

Rehearsal Tutus if un-hooped will be packed inverted in a carton. Please make sure someone is available to receive goods as I cannot be responsible for undelivered goods.

If the Tutu is hooped then it will be sent packed flat in cardboard. The size is dependent on the restrictions of the mail service as far as cost.

If returned to me because of failed delivery or incorrect address given, the cost of re-shipping your goods will be at your expense.

 

RETURNS

Once Fabric, Net etc and trims are cut they are non-returnable.

NO returns on Patterns and Instruction books.

Please Contact me first.

Once it has been agreed in writing, please return your goods unused and in the original packaging with recorded mail and within 7 days of receipt clearly stating why they have been returned.

If a replacement is needed then I will send it after I have received the returned goods. (which have to be unused and in the same condition as I sent them) –An agreement needs to be reached before re sending the goods.

Refunds–If you are unsure of a colour or suitability of an Applique then please order a sample first. I am not refunding 20 appliques ordered a month ago anymore because they are not to your liking. Order a sample.

Refunding and processing returned goods takes time and costs money. I cannot offer a full refund of the goods under certain circumstances like this.

A small fee will be charged on cancelled orders to cover my Paypal costs and administration costs.

As a basic service business my profit margins are small and I need to at least cover my costs incurred by cancelling orders and refunding.

There are no returns on customised goods.

Please be aware I am not responsible for delayed deliveries because of problems beyond my control like mail delays,  bad weather, pandemics, worldwide disruptions, Holidays and Christmas time.
