Beeswax

Description

Used to strengthen and lubricate thread which helps prevent tangling when hand sewing.

Pull thread a couple of times over the wax and wipe slowly with pressure to set wax in the thread.

You can also iron it in between paper to set the wax but experiment first.

On some light coloured fabrics the wax might show so try on a scrap first.

Sold in small blocks – size approximately 8 cm x 2 cm x 1.5 cm

Made by local Honey bee farms.

The colour does fade with storage.
