Bone Casing

Description

Used to protect Boning and fabric in Tutu bodices and corsets

Viscose

A densely woven Tubular tape to encase boning

Bone slides into casing and then ends are sewn closed

This Casing is used for strong boning like Spiral Steel or Metal boning specifically as these are strong and more inclined to ‘poke through’

Two widths and two colours available but they can be dyed

White and Black

Widths – 15 mm (9 mm inner) —use 6-7 mm boning- (Does not fit 10 mm bones due to the seam welding on the casing.)

Widths – 21 mm (14 mm inner width) —use 10 – 11 mm boning
