There will also be a new colour coming in July called ‘Sea Green’ in the Finer 40 denier Italian net.

Any feedback regarding adding these colours to the existing range is welcomed.

Italian Coarser ‘F’ 40 Denier has two new colours–Dark Nude (slightly more of a Tan colour than the Oz Dark Nude coloured net) and Apple Green. (A slightly more Yellow Apple Green.)

The Oz net new colour ‘Blush Nude Pink’ is a softer nude colour with a touch of Ballet Pink colour in it)  Brought in by request – Lovely colour.

Net and Lycra samples

We are slowly phasing out the 170 gsm Italian Lycra and replacing it with the Italian 190 gsm Matt Lycra.

There are a few different colours in the new range which will be introduced as the others go out of stock.

A lovely Blue Lycra called Cornflower which matches the Cornflower Italian Coarser 40 Denier Net.

Laguna Green Lycra blends well with the Oz net called Laguna.

The Peach Blends well with the Italian Coarser net ‘Peach’

Recycled Nylon.

More colours will be added over time.

Please order samples to be sure it is what you need and to confirm colour choices.

A thin lining can be used.

The final designs must always be visually acceptable in their placement.

These are FULL size patterns for guides only as each Tutu is different in size and the patterns will need to be adapted to fit your particular size.

Depending on feedback these might be changed to Half size patterns as they are too large for mailing rolled.

They will come folded in A4 sizes but can be flattened and then rolled for storage.

Available in Adult and Child size— as a basic Adult approximate  15″ Tutu skirt (32 1/2″ High Hip plus 2″ ease = 34 1/2″)

and a basic Child 11.5″ Tutu skirt (28″ High Hip plus 2″ ease=30″).  See more information in the Shop under Tutu Patterns.

There will be 3 pattern designs initially- plus the Basic Guidelines pattern— Petals, Stars and Scallops, Starfish

The Designs will be available as a set or individually.

I will be starting off with the Basic Guidelines pattern on its own.

Basic Notes are emailed with each Pattern if ordered.

A good knowledge of Tutu making is advised as the notes do not cover basic sewing or how to make a Tutu.

Old Gold Metallic thread motifs

More Beautiful Trims from a top Japanese manufacturer.

These are very different and Unusual trims but extremely good quality.

The metallic thread and the embroidery is very fine.

The workmanship especially on the larger trims is very good.

Again the different colour gold metallic threads depends how much base thread is used.

The old gold colour is a more solid metallic thread where the brighter gold on some has a Lurex thread in.

Some trims I have only ordered small quantities to try.

The Old Gold Metallic Trim is available in Motifs or by the metre.

The Gold corded and Embroidered scalloped Trim is very effective on a Tutu Skirt.

I recently saw the Black Trim decorating a wedding cake base-unusual application of the trims.

The price reflects the quality and as much as I work hard to try and keep my prices affordable,

with these good quality and unusual Trims the prices are unfortunately higher than normal.

Hopefully with lots of interest I can order bigger quantities and so bring the price down.
