These are Pull on Tutu skirts with 7-9 layers of net depending on your size chosen.

The pattern comes with the Panty pattern and a few pages of notes including the net cutting chart.

As with the other Tutu skirt patterns there is NO PATTERN for the cutting of the net.

A net chart is used to guide you according to size chosen.

Ladies Small, Medium and large will have separate cutting charts added as they are not on the notes included.

Only suitable for Stretch all ways (Horizontal and vertical stretch) fabrics–eg: Lycra and velvet.

Check SIZE CHART on the Product Info- ‘Stretch Tutu pattern info and size chart.’ (Main Menu)

They are designed for use with the Stiff Oz net but can be changed accordingly.

The Panty has the Upper and Lower line marked for net placement.

You just fill in the rest of the layers evenly spaced.

There is an elasticated waistband.

There is a few pages of notes which come with the pattern showing how to construct the panty.

The Stretch Tutus Booklet can then be purchased and followed showing the net attaching and finishing.

Foam rosebuds on wired stems.

They are not bleached white.

White roses measuring approx. 4 cm height x 3 cm width.

The stem is about 20 cm long.

Guidelines pattern

Available in 2 sizes—Basic Adult and Basic Child.

These are full size printed patterns.

They will be folded into A4 sizes.

The Adult size is a 32 1/2″(+2″ ease = 34 1/2″) High Hip measurement with a 15″ Skirt length.

The Child size is a 28″ (plus 2″ ease = 30″) High Hip measurement with a 11.5″ skirt length.

Designed to help with placement of decoration on the Tutu skirt or simple shapes for guidance of decoration.

The decoration is usually attached to a layer of net placed on top of the Tutu skirt which is commonly referred to as a Plate.

Each Tutu can be a different size depending on the measurement of the High Hipline so

the Plate patterns and the Guide will need to be adjusted accordingly.

There is the Basic Guidelines Pattern available now with other designs following shortly.

NOTES–

Basic Notes are available. Sent by email if purchased with the pattern.

The Notes are used for both the Adult and Child Plate pattern.

Most Tutu makers do not need them so there is an option to include them or leave them

out of your purchase of the Plate pattern.

The Basic notes consist of 5 pages of general information to be used as a guide.

The Notes for the Design shapes which are to follow will refer more to those shapes.

It is advised a good knowledge of Tutu making is necessary as NO information is given on how to sew and construct a Tutu.

If you want to add more net layers then increase your Tulle quantity appropriately.

PDF Instruction notes are available to order separately and are sent by email. These are 5 pages of A4 size notes with diagrams.

The New BASIC Stretch Tutu pattern by Dani Legge of Australia is aimed at Novice sewers new to stretch Tutu sewing.

It is a simple design with fewer layers of net than standard.

There are 5 layers in the smallest skirt and up to 7 layers in the biggest skirt.

The pattern comes with a Net cutting chart and Fabric requirement chart but NO INSTRUCTIONS.

The Printed 55 page Instruction book can be bought separately (or combined with a pattern of your choice of size) which is called ‘Tutu making for Novice sewers’.

Dani has brought this out to aid those very new to stretch tutu making.

The sizes are on the small side so if in doubt please order the next size up.

Brown horsehair attached for clipping onto the hair for stability.

Sturdy and light construction and finished with stiffened lace.

Some are available but please enquire to availability as production time can vary depending on season and work loads at the time.

This headpiece is not a toy. It is sturdy but does require care and will need looking after.
