Curved needles

A curved needle generally used for sewing pointe shoe — darning of the toe area or for Tutu plate attaching of decoration in hard to sew areas.

Anywhere that is difficult for the needle to go straight through your item being sewn.

Be aware they are not fine like beading needles.

Commonly used to sew mattresses.

These are 19 gauge thick and 3″ in length following the curve. Measuring straight across from end to end is 45mm approximately

Close up of spun Silk Dupion

Indian Silk Dupion which is Machine Loomed Silk giving it a smooth feel.

It still has the slubs which are inherent to Silk Dupion but much less than handwoven Silk Dupion fabric.

Width — 1.36 m.

The Silk is difficult to photograph and be aware computer monitors vary.

Marks ironed off Coutil Lining.

These Erasable Rollerball pens are ideal for marking patterns and Fabric.

The  Thermo-reactive ink is erased by Friction or Heat.

Friction caused by using the hard eraser attached to the pen is best for removing marking lines on paper.

Steaming or Ironing  removes marking lines on most fabrics.

Always test on a sample before using.

Available in Black and Red and Royal Blue

Very little colour difference in the Appliques, the Silver version looks a bit paler than the Gold version.

There is a matching Trim in the Silver and Ivory variation-UC14x Silver Trim

Floral off-white embroidery/Pale Ivory with  tiny pearl beads, sequins and beads sewn on.

The light catches the beads and the fine gold thread sewn on the leaves.
